This blogpost will describe the process of annotation and labelling selected time intervals
Annotating selected time intervals
The annotation tool allows for annotations to be added to selected time intervals. To annotate a selected time interval, position the mouse over the active coding tier (the tier highlighted in red) and right click on the tier. This will display the annotation menu. Click on ‘new annotation here,’ and press enter. After an annotation has been added to a specific tier, these can be selected and activated, which will highlight the annotation in a dark blue frame.

Labelling annotations
Some tiers contain specific behavioral labels (i.e., controlled vocabularies) which can be attached to each annotation. To do this, highlight the annotation and double click. This will present the label menu. Select the appropriate label and press enter.
